Tolera helps you identify your personal FODMAP triggers using the Monash three-phase protocol.
Tolera uses a Cloudflare-hosted backend that combines a curated FODMAP food database with AI-powered meal analysis. When you log a meal, it identifies ingredients and calculates per-serving FODMAP loads.
Yes. Your meals, symptoms, and tolerance profile stay on your device. Cross-device sync is not available in this version. See our privacy policy for details.
HealthKit access is optional. If granted, Tolera reads sleep, heart rate variability, exercise, and menstrual cycle data to help correlate them with your gut symptoms. None of this data leaves your device.
Developed by Monash University, the protocol has three phases: Elimination (2–6 weeks of strict low-FODMAP eating to establish a baseline), Reintroduction (testing each FODMAP group one at a time to identify triggers), and Personalization (a long-term diet built around your specific tolerances).
No. Tolera is an informational tool. Always consult a registered dietitian or physician before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have a diagnosed condition.
